While we wait...

Image
What does an author do while he waits for his book to come out? He writes the next one, of course. Wendl VonTrier, The Winged Child's mentor and guardian is in process of getting a novel all his own. He and his kin also star in a couple of short stories to appear soon in upcoming anthologies. Millicent McTeer's parents are getting on with their lives after their Winged Child's big adventure. Unless the author gets carried off to the Laurel himself, there's likely to be another tale about Joshua McTeer and Amelia Montford somewhere in the future.  Meanwhile, Francis (above) and I are waiting for Winged Child galleys, and there will be a marvelous cover to show you any day now, thanks to the graphic wizardry at Creative James Media . I've seen it, and it's a wowser. A lot is happening between now and February when The Winged Child flies. Do we ever?

Do we ever really know the world we live in? Perhaps what we perceive is not reality at all, just an inverted reflection of the actual universe, illusions fashioned by the mind from our own inner desires and fears. When Millicent McTeer's world gets turned upside down and inside out, she questions everything, even her ability to fly. Millicent's story, The Winged Child, is coming in February, from Creative James Media . Watch for it...   To get the latest on The Winged Child delivered to your mailbox, click here . Henry's books .
